Ramona’s town
My town is big and many people call it a city. Of course, it is not a city because it doesn’t have all the things you find in a city. We have some old buildings in our town and they are very beautiful. We also have many new buildings and some are also beautiful but some are ugly. My friends at school say that all the buildings in our town are beautiful but I don’t think they are. We have a lot of parks in my town. There are three parks in the centre and two near the river. Also we have a very big park near my house which is not in the centre of the town. Oh, I forgot there is also a small park near my cousin’s house. It is not a noisy town and not very busy. I hope you come and see my town one day.
Brenda’s town
My town is really big. We have a shopping mall in the centre of the town and also one near my house. I prefer the one in the centre because it has a cinema complex. Everybody goes to the cinema here because we do not have another cinema in our town. Of course, a cinema complex has more than one cinema in it. In our cinema complex there are six cinemas. They all show films on Saturday and Sunday but only four show films from Monday to Friday.
We don’t have many parks today in our town. When my father was a boy our town had many parks. He says that today these parks are shopping malls and houses. I like my town very much but the only thing I don’t like is the noise because we live on a very busy street.
